My issue is i can get it to boot up ( though it did freeze once on the login screen ) and can start to mine for around 5 minutes and then it will black screen and ill have to restart it. I'm thinking either the board or the ram is bad. Any other ideas? I wouldn't think it would be that unless your running them at their max limit in which case it could probably trip that power supply. I had a bad USB cable here a few weeks ago between the x1 and x16 part.

It would reboot, hash correctly for maybe a minute then the hash would slowly decline on that card for a few minutes till it finally dropped offline and the cycle would repeat itself. So as silly as it sounds it might be worth sitting in front of a monitor and watching the hash of each card during those five minute reboots and see if you experience the same thing. I couldn't figure it out till I finally hooked a monitor to that rig and actually watched it between reboots. • • • • • • •.

So I tried running all 5 cards at stock setting, ran for 3 hours. Than I tried 3 cards running at 80% and it ran for a hour. Today I'm getting a new motherboard and ordered a new stick of ram. I'll do a fresh install of windows and kind of start over. But as I sit here I just remembered one of the cards is using a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter, might that cause instability since those auros cards are such power hogs?

I've never heard of risers causing instability issues so aside from Mobo ram and psu I'm not sure what else it could be • • • • • • •.
